This line is a pretty good summary of our biking terrain on the day. A lot of hills, deer, and a few falling rocks.
First order of business was getting 60km to Terrace Bay since we didn't make it yesterday. That took about 2.5 hours, and passing through it took 1 minute. At this point our visitor left us.
It took us a while but we made it into White River before day-end. On the way Claire had a 2 minute irrelevant discussion with a random cop driving down the Trans Canada highway. "Nice bike, I wish I had mine, where are you to" were some of the soundbites. Not a care in the world that traffic was being held up and a transport truck was about to hit him like a moose. When he pulled over to chat more we just kept biking and didn't look back.
